A place that it's time has past
Look at the dates for the reviews below. I think the reviews are all correct. Yes, a few years ago, this was really a fun place (Even then, I think Friday night was "the" night to go) But now, it's simply a dead spot. What I can not understand, is why the charge a cover charge. Usually a cover charge is for Go-Go boys, Some free foods, some entertainment. This place has none of that, and very little patrons left. I can not recommend this place to anyone. I wish they could do something to revive it. It was fun years ago.
Yeah... Not so much.
Moved to the area from SoCal and read some of the reviews below. Thought I'd give it a chance.. once.. twice.. three times and out. Never going back there again. Absolutely ZERO reason to visit. If you are into lame crowds or zero crowds, expensive drinks, fat bitchy bartenders, and unmemorable music then TD is the place for you. I usually support "family" institutions but this one is a yeah... Not so much.
Check it out again
Totally new furniture...loveseats, easy chairs..very nice. Now the place is as nice as the staff and the regulars. Great parking, patio in back for smokers has tables and is totally blocked from the wind so always nice at night. Great drinks served up by cute and friendly bartenders. You don't have to stick with beer here. Try it again for the first time!
Can you say dive?
The only time to go to this place is when you are trying to change things up and then only on Fridays nights. Even then it's a hit or miss. I have seen a few good looking people but it is mostly Asians and old lifetime bar squatters. Kind of depressing really. The place needs a bit of a facelift as well. They do have a pool table which I guess is cool but I don't play much so it is not a big draw. As a whole the place is a bit sleezy as the sign by the door says, "maybe tonight" and it's placement between an adult bookstore and a novelty store indicates but if you go with a group it can be fun. Just don't expect much because then you won't be dissapointed.
