We'll start in South San Jose and we'll make tracks with a quick flat 10 mile warm up direct to Morgan Hill for coffee at Peets. The next leg will take us down the valley to Gilroy for another quick stop at the Fruit Barn on Pacheco Pass Hwy before we do the Gilroy Hot Springs loop up Canada Road, then descending Roop Road to Leavesley Road.
Lunch will be in Gilroy at mile 47. After lunch, we'll top off water and head for Chesbro Reservoir (yep, no Uvas Reservoir this time), and then on to Calero and finally up Bailey and back to San Jose for ice cold Frappuccinos!
This is the nineth ride in the 2015 winter/spring series to help people gear up for late spring and summer riding, including AIDS/LifeCycle or your first metric or century of the year, or ever!
We'll have progressively longer and more difficult rides.
There are no scheduled rides in this series for the second Saturday of the month. Instead, please join the club's regular monthly Jersey ride, which leaves from Peet's on Market Street (see the calendar for details.)
We'll ride routes all over the Bay Area. Most routes will be without a whole lot of stop signs and lights. We'll try not to ride in the rain, and there won't be a safety speech.
I'll check the weather in the morning and if there's a 30% chance of rain, will cancel and let those who RSVPed know. So please do RSVP.

Is this a "no rider left behind" ride? No, but we will have a few regroups. We will keep an eye out for each other but if you are a newer rider or unfamiliar with the territory, please review the route in advance, and make sure you get a route sheet before ride out in case you get dropped from the group.
