Silicon Valley Roller Girls (Closed Permanently)

(6 Ratings)
Whoa, Nellie! It's roller derby time!
If you grew up watching grainy kinescopes of Honey Sanchez and Sally Vega jammin' for the T-Birds at the Olympic Auditorium, know the sport is alive and well in Silicon Valley. The Roller Girls field not one but two successful teams; beer flows freely (in the stands) and a cut of the proceeds go to charity. Announcer Miss Deliciously Kun-tae (aka Miss Julie) was the 38th Empress of San Jose. Check the Roller Girls' website for dates and times.

SVRG AWESOMENESS

I can't get enough of the SVRG derby league ! It is a wonderful group of skaters and volunteers that form this league, and all who participate do so with full force! since joining the league i have started to learn who I am as a gay woman, and fully embrace my sexuality. :)
